Description: An erect spreading shrub up to 3 m height. Leaves oblong, obovate or panduriform, rather thick, cottony tomentose when young, petiole 0.3-2 cm long, leaf blade 6-18 cm long and 3-8 cm wide, cordate at the base, acute or rarely rounded at the base. Flowers in long peduncle, umbel-like or furcated cymes solitary at the nodes. Corolla greenish white, 3-4.5 cm in diameter. Anthers with the connective produced into a membranous tip, drop shaped pollen masses solitary in each anther loculus. Merocarps half-ovoid, 7-10 cm long, 2.5-4 cm broad. Compared to purple flowered variety this is rare.
